This future resilient aerospace and logistics park is designed to attract and sustain long-term, high-value investments in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, advanced aerospace manufacturing, supply chain logistics, and innovation-driven research and development. It offers a complete ecosystem that caters to global industry players looking to establish or expand operations in a strategic location that provides not only infrastructure readiness but also policy and regulatory facilitation.

A launch tenant of the development is GE Aerospace for its engine services value chain supporting the region. The presence of such a globally recognised player not only validates the park’s investment potential but also signals strong confidence in Malaysia’s talent, infrastructure, and long-term aerospace strategy.

Selangor Aero Park @KLIA Aeropolis is uniquely positioned to leverage its geographic and economic advantages. It offers seamless multimodal connectivity, with access to air freight terminals, sea ports via nearby Westports and Northport, and comprehensive highway and rail networks. This allows for faster, cost-efficient movement of parts, components, and finished products across the region and to global markets. Beyond physical infrastructure, the development is supported by a pro-investment governance model, led by the Selangor State Government and its strategic partners. This includes streamlined approval processes, coordinated facilitation through state-linked agencies, and bespoke investor support to reduce time-to-market and increase operational efficiency. Investors benefit from fast-track permits, incentives, and access to well-developed utilities and digital infrastructure.

Equally important is the availability of a skilled and future-ready workforce. The State’s emphasis on talent development is reflected in its partnerships with technical institutions, universities, and industry-led training providers to ensure a consistent pipeline of engineers, technicians, and aerospace professionals. Programmes are being designed to meet the evolving needs of the aerospace sector, including specialised training in composite materials, avionics, and precision manufacturing. Environmentally, the park is also being developed with sustainability in mind. Green building standards, energy-efficient utilities, and smart park features are embedded into the masterplan to support Malaysia’s commitment towards decarbonisation and green growth.

The Selangor Aero Park is a crucial element in the realisation of the vision of the Malaysian Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2030 to generate RM55.2 billion in annual aerospace revenue and create over 32,000 high-income jobs by 2030. Spanning approximately 600 acres within KLIA Aeropolis, the park has a potential gross development value (GDV) of RM2.3 billion. It will be developed over several phases to ensure a well-planned and future ready investment environment. With its strategic location, investor-friendly ecosystem, and strong public-private collaboration, Selangor Aero Park @KLIA Aeropolis is not merely a physical development—it is a launchpad for regional aerospace excellence, offering opportunities for growth, innovation, and leadership in one of the world’s fastest-growing sectors.
